I am having you read this book now because it is should inspire the work you will be doing in this module, and it will prepare you for the work you will do starting in Week 29.
For this now, in this module, I need you to invest in this powerful book that's going to be the foundation of launching your program successfully. It's basically a book that teaches you the principles of launching your online program in this world of cyber connections. You can either read the book or listen to the audiobook. It doesn't matter. I am going to talk in terms of listening since that's what I did and I found it very enjoyable. But you do whichever is most convenient for you.
Here's what I need you to do in a nutshell: Listen + Apply. The audiobook version is about 7 hours long from start to finish. However, when it takes me about 14 hours to get through it simply because the concepts the author present are so significant, I have to pause and write them down. OKAY, admittedly, this would be a great reason to actually READ it instead of listening to it. But there's something about the audio version that just lulls me into a trance and I find myself mesmerized by the material. Anyway, however you decide to receive the information, I need you to do what you need to understand the concepts that he's discussing in the book, particularly the TRIGGERS and the different aspects of the LAUNCH SEQUENCE.
This book is important because the triggers that Jeff rights about are essential to helping you position you and your program in a strong position of authority with your audience-- particularly in your fringe Facebook group. I'm already teaching you to do some of these things, but this book is going to help you understand the BIG PICTURE of why you must do the things I'm teaching... how they work.
The launch sequence that Jeff presents is the one that you will be following to present to your prospective clients and students. In order to make this last section of your coaching certification successful, you must nail this formula.
Ultimately, you are going to need to have your main program offering plus an additional 'pre-launch' program offering that will help people get to know you and to help you set up the pitch for your program. The pre-launch program is going to be a seedling or a satellite of your original program. So, for example, my Spiritual Life Coach Certification program is my main offering. But I have the BIG Thinking Exit Strategy program to help people learn about what I offer. Most of you all did that program and then came into this one! So you can see how effective it was at helping the two of us build rapport.
When you read the book, it might all sound overwhelming, but don't worry. I've successfully used the Product Launch Formula and I've structured the entire program launch section of this certification program around it so believe it or not, you're already in the process of doing most of the things that he is recommending! You know all that writing on you pain points and all those charts outlining your pain points and all that schmoozing on Facebook and all that relationship building stuff? Yep. It's priming you to be able to do the things he recommends in this book. In fact, all the work that you have done around the pain points, identifying them, writing examples and telling stories about them, and even your own personal brand authority stories are going to help you tremendously with the information that Jeff presents in the Launch book. So definitely have access to all your notes handy.
As you listen/read the book, pause and think about what he's telling you. Literally pause the recording and see how the concepts apply to you, your niche, your Inner Circle Client and the goals that you have for yourself. Start imagining what it is you desire to manifest for yourself as far as your authority, your program and your income are concerned.
Look. In this book, Jeff is going to talk a LOT about multiple thousands of dollar launches. The man literally can make million in a day. For our certification, we are not set up to accommodate a $100,000.00 launch. But I do believe that each and every one of you will put together a program that will see a $6,000 to $8,000 launch. That is OUTSTANDING for a brand new coach. Heck! That's outstanding for anybody. So while you're listening to this book, just practice getting into the role of being a coach that gets paid a minimum of $2000 for their program.
While you're at it, start thinking what it means to command $2000 for your offering. It's a great time to check in with your Future Self from the Badass Butterfly Mindset Module. How does that feel for you? What does that you look like? What I mean is, in four months, you are going to be that coach who gets eight people signing up to do your program. What does that future you look like? How does she speak? What kinds of dialogues does she have with herself? What is the quality of her work? How does she invest herself in her program? On what does she focus? What are her strengths?
Spend time learning about your Future Self and making a connection with her. Notice where you have fear, resistance or doubt around her. Guess what? Do Shadow work to help you correct your mindset so you can align with her.
